Limited edition release for the Colundi Benelux Tour (Oct 23-26, 2015). The content explores the Thesmophoria, the festival of Kore’s transformation into Persephone. It depicts her descent to Elysium with her partner—the dual-natured Dionysos/Plouton—and the goddess Hekate. This collection highlights the Eleusinian belief in the unity of life and death aspects within the same deities. It also touches upon the conflict between the gods’ acceptance of the wild Dionysos and Demeter’s mourning, which ultimately resulted in the famine of the Earth.
